I woke up extra early just to greet it. And to be sure that it was actually going to take place and that I wasn’t just dreaming.
The kids were [totally] reluctant to lift their sleepy heads off the pillow at 7 a.m., I think my exuberance probably added to their sour mood. But, OH WELL!
While ingesting their “breakfast of champions” (strawberry toaster strudel and fresh fruit), I sang and danced around the kitchen as I assembled their lunches.
When it was time to say goodbye, I provided each one a “Go get ’em” hug on their way out the door (which I did not allow to hit them in the a@% on the way out).
One word for ya….HALLELUAH!
